Prem's Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

Beer, being one of the oldest and third most consumed beverage, is adorded by millions of people across the world.The craft brewery is a concept where beer is made in -house at a smaller scale. People now are much more aware of beer and are clear about their choices,however many like experimenting as well.

The White Owl, a well known brewpub of Mumbai is the brainchild of Javed Murad and Kunjan Chikhilkar.The first of its kind premium craft beer brand of India has grown exponentially.Its known for its ivory themed interiors , the statement mugs and the extraordinary beers. This brewpub has quite a few off beat beers with four craft beers that are mainstays on their menu.The white owl beer is presently available on tap at over 70 restaurants and bars across Mumbai and Pune. It is already available in Prem’s, Mineority by Saby,Raasta Cafe (Baner) ,The Little Next Door, The Urban Foundry, Hippie at heart,Toss (Mundhwa)  to name a few places.
We were invited to PREM’S for the tasting of the following on tap beers. 

1)Diablo-A mild caramel salted beer which is very easy on the palate.It’s the perfect drink for a summer afternoon or to unwind after a hecitc schedule.Diablo, a red irish ale, was certainly my favorite of the lot.Diablo goes pretty well with indian starters like paneer chilly or chicken 65.

2)Spark-Belgium wit-This one was a little bitter with a slight flavor of citrus orange.It consisted of camomile,coriander and orange.This can go well with some butter garlic prawns or an oriental starter.

3)ACE-Apple cider-Now for all the apple cider fans, you wont be able to get over this one.Slightly sweet on the palate with a distinct aroma,this one can also be relished by all the “non beer” people.Any tandoori starter can go well with this one.

The white owl craft beers have approximately 5% of alcohol content and are served in 330ml mugs. The best part is that white owl is soon launching two of its best sellers, ‘Diablo’ and ‘Spark’ in the form of bottles.Isnt it a great time to be alive?:D
