Orion Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

Every restaurant has a story behind its making and what excites me the most is the amount of effort and the story behind every restaurant that comes up in town. Orion did not just seem like an exciting place in terms of its promising ambiance and food, but the owners have a commendable achievement and success story to share at such a young age, where most of us are usually figuring out our lives.

The restaurant is regularly experimenting and trying to give the best dining experience for the customers with a lot of efforts being put by the owners. They are trying to create a space that leaves you satisfied in all the aspects of your dining experience and I would genuinely like to give them full credits for the same.

Our Sunday Afternoon was planned with an exciting menu to look forward to with definite satisfaction of coming back to the place.

Ambiance : A beautiful roof with an excellent waterfall panel on the side and some thoughtfully designed furniture to compliment the same. The restaurant interiors are given quite a lot of attention and solves multiple ambiance purposes like spending lazy meals in the afternoons , fine dining in the evenings or have fun saturday evenings with incredible music to groove to!

1. Three mushroom Liquid with melba crisp
2. Indian Spiced Pumpkin veloute
3. Chicken Shorba ( Authentic )

With options for every taste bud, the soups were in versions of comfort , a spicy hit on your tongue to a surprising sweetness of Pumpkin with beautifully complimenting textured add ons.  Favourite : Indian Spiced Pumpkin veloute (#recommended)

1. Makhmali Roll
2. Sikpuri Tikki with passionfruit mayo
3. Country Style Maple Wings
4. Bangkok style chicken
5. Garlic bread with red onion jam
6. Orion Special Kebab

Rather than experimenting too much with the dishes, the authenticity in the flavors is quite maintained with some good effort put in the presentation. The starters were a great pairing with our drinks and some of my favorites from the day was the Bangkok Style Chicken (#highlyrecommended) that reminds you of the lollipop chicken in more like a popcorn form which you can keep nibbling on & the classic Orion Special Kebab which is an authentic plate of Chicken Kebabs! The Makhmali roll is a paneer stuffed roll and is a must try for the vegetarians !

Pasta –
1. Pumpkin Ravioli with thyme butter
2. Black Lasagna

Ravioli is too risky a dish to include in the menu. Its either on point or its a mess! The restaurant has managed to prepare one decent plate of the same with some interesting combinations of stuffing! The Black lasagna is not your usual layers of chicken and pasta, it includes some incredible ingredients like Black mushroom ( Probably shiitake) along with chicken and the dish had an additional surprise element of black once you dig into the creamy white dish

1. Chicago style deep dish pizza
2. Veg & Non-veg naanza

Sticking to the usual plate of happiness , right from naanzas to the deep dish pizzas, Orion has a choice for all ! Cheesy with a lot of topping that satisfies your tastebuds. these pizzas will surely not disappoint!
Mezze Platter with baba ganush , garlic hummus & beetroot hummus :  Ordering in a group and to give your palate a fresh start with a middle eastern snack containing 2 varieties of hummus and Baba Ganoush, the mezze platter is the appropriate dish to order!

Desserts – IMG_3456.JPG
Chocolate Cigars : If you know us, you ll know that we are mostly chocoholics and we will never stop at one serving of any chocolate dish that we like. This dish was just another example of our obsession of calling for almost a third helping of the same! #highlyrecommended

Drinks : An incredible bar menu has a great selection with affordable rates! Right from some in house versions of cocktails with surprise elements to freakshakes for teetotalers! One of my favorites from the same was the Cinematic thats consisted of a combination of Whiskey and Cinnamon that made for a perfect drink for a Sunday Afternoon!
